| ~ Kuala Lumpur International Airport(KLIA) to Kuala Lumpur(KL) - the most effective way to KL is by getting a KLIA Express train(One Stop Station). Takes about 30mins to Sentral station(where Hilton & Le Meridian Hotel locate). Sentral station is the hub of all taxis, buses, Komuters(KTM) & LightRapitTransit(LRT). Ticket fare is about USD$10 / one way. Where 's KLIA Express Train? @ lower ground floor of KLIA. In arrival hall of KLIA, take a lift(printed KLIA Express! Don't enter the wrong lift!) should lead you directly to the KLIA Express Station. By airport limousine to KL: the transportation fee will likely be USD$30 / one way on a 60mins trip. Tickets are sold by Tickets machine(You do need to exchange some RM before getting here). |
| ~ Air Asia - LowCost Terminal(LCCT) to Kuala Lumpur(KL) - Don't think about Express train in this LCCT! Low - cost as it says, with only USD$1.8 / one way on a coach will bring you to Sentral station. Good for travelling with family in a economical way. |
| ~ Within Kuala Lumpur(KL) - A) "hop in hop out" Open air double decker coach - USD$0.60 per person is good mean of transport among all the major hot-spot within KL. B) LightRapidTransit(LRT) - a skytrain traveling inner city will further bring you around KL. B) taxi - Unlike Singapore, ask for the fare before hopping in because most of the taxi does not follow the meter! You could end up paying USD20 for 15mins trip! =(

| ~ for shorterm(homestay / backpacker) - strongly suggest Jalan TongShin (behind Jalan Alor). Lots of decent homestay and local cost accomodation sprouts in recent years. These are rennovated shoplots that displays the colonial architecture of UK's legacy. with it location of the Bukit Bintang, you will expect lots lots of stalls where foods are handy. |
| ~ for shorterm(5-star hotel) - There are lots of classy hotels stood up along Jalan Bukit Bintang. Starting from USD $80 ~ $200 /night. Among all decent hotels, I will pick Park Royal Hotel where it easy access locations to nearby shopping malls(5mins to lot 10/Sungai Wang/Pavilion) and pricing is more affordable considering it is 5-star hotel. It gives a good quiet place to spend a night after a tiring day of walking! LRT (namely "SungaiWang") is situated next to this hotel. The corporate rate is only USD$109/night. Well, if you do not have the corporated rate, email me for one(do require your passport name/no/checkin date/prepaid for registration. |
| ~ for longterm(service apartment) - ever visited the Hotel Villa right beside the China Embassy along Jalan Ampang, the place is not the most luxurious but it is clean and affordable place that is closeby KLCC. Try get the window facing KLCC, the night view is bizard! Taxi is readily available throughout the day a this location. |

ever got the title of the highest twin towers in the world. It is "steel" shinning today. Others than shopping bonanza showcase everday, it is a good place to hangout in the largest bookstore "Kuni-kuniya" in malaysia(3rd floor fr concord);

| ~ Bintang Walk | about 3km stretch of road highlights the city most happening trends and events. It is d most crowded places during NewYearEve and Christmas! Pavilon - the famous extravaganza place to burn your money! Among all, Lot10, SungaiWang(trendy/mobiles), Lowyat(electronics) are the most standout. Not to have missed the Star Gallery food court located in Tang plaza (walked through the JW Marriot hotel), it was the typical toilet that give you a feeling of "tranquility" in town! =)
|
| ~ Nightlife | not that you can find the same "sensation" in Bangkok nor Manila, but it was still "kick-ass". Located nearby KLCC, along Jalan Pinang: Thai Clud and The Beach Cafe are the wildest not to regret for a visit. |
