Returning to Bali the 3rd time. It's like a magnet to draw me closer to the land, sea and people. Wayan(the same
guy mentioned in 2007) got us a comfort Kijang with 300 kR/day and we straight headed to Kuta. Streets & shops were familier. It didn't take long for us to settle @ a busy main street corner
sipping latte and puffing a cigar in middle night. Feeling was wonderful and problem seems far over momentary!
We wasted no time to start round island journey next morn! Menjagang island was destinated for this trip but the narrow and winding roads was far bored except strectes of padi view. 4hrs+ then the'room' @ Pemuteran(+62 81 2463 7855/Tunas) was check-in and turned out to be the coolest place on this trip! I've done the very 1st night dive at the Pemuteran beach and current was little and it perfectly ended up with Mandarine fish sighting. There was a sea turtle hatchery ground found @ this site. Soft corals was magnificent and lively. But rubbish was
readily everywhere. Next Stop / Tulamben was 4hrs away. Lodging @ Matahari (150kR/day) was cheaper with everything a resort could have offerred. Beer and Juicy running all the day @ costing
closer to nothing. The ship wreck is gaining all the spot light. This site offers a good snorkelling too. The "Drop off" within range was sighted.
How could be one left without tasting Bebek Bengkel @ Ubud(near turn towards Monkey forest)! It's worth the gasoline and time to travel that far for a meal like that!
lodging: Kuta & Legian($250~300kR). gas: one full tank more than enough to go a round of bali.
